The rules for using FarmHop’s apps and website. The short version: listings can go out of date, so call a farm before you drive; you own what you post but let us show it; and a subscription renews until you cancel it with Apple or Google.
The agreement
These terms apply to the FarmHop: Local Farms Nearbyapp for iPhone, iPad and Android and to the website at farmhop.farm, including the farmer portal (together, the “Application”), made by PixelPort LLC, 7901 4th St N, Ste 300, St. Petersburg, FL 33702(the “Service Provider”), as a freemium service.
By downloading or using the Application you agree to these terms, so please read them carefully first. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
Using FarmHop
Unauthorized copying or modification of the Application, any part of it, or our trademarks is strictly prohibited. You may not try to extract the Application’s source code, bulk-copy its listings, translate the Application into other languages, or create derivative versions. All trademarks, copyrights, database rights and other intellectual property rights in the Application remain the property of the Service Provider.
The Service Provider wants the Application to be as useful and efficient as possible, and so may change it or charge for its services at any time and for any reason. Any charges will always be made clear to you before you pay.
The Application stores and processes personal data you have given us in order to provide the service. You are responsible for keeping your phone and your access to the Application secure. We strongly advise against jailbreaking or rooting your phone, which removes the software restrictions of its official operating system. It can expose your phone to malware and viruses, weaken its security features, and stop the Application from working properly or at all.
Farm information and accuracy
The Application brings together information about farms, farm stands and farmers markets from public sources, farm owners and community contributions, and shows a freshness and source indicator for each listing. While the Service Provider works to keep this information accurate and up to date, it relies on third parties and public data and cannot guarantee that any listing, hours, availability, deal or price is current or correct. Confirm details with a farm directly before relying on them or traveling to it.
Nothing in the Application is food safety, health, nutrition or medical advice. Products such as raw dairy are regulated differently in different places; you are responsible for checking your local rules and making your own informed choices. The Service Provider accepts no liability for any loss, direct or indirect, that you experience as a result of relying on information in the Application.
Order requests
Some farms accept order requests through the Application. An order request is a message to the farm, not a purchase from us: the farm decides whether to accept it, and you pay the farm directly, at pickup or however the farm arranges. The Service Provider is not a party to the sale and is not responsible for a farm’s products, prices, availability, or for any dispute between you and a farm.
Subscriptions
The Application offers an optional auto-renewing subscription, FarmHop Premium, which unlocks features such as product search, deal and back-in-stock alerts, and the full map with a wider radius and filters. It is offered monthly or yearly, and some plans include a free trial. Prices are shown in the Application before you buy and may vary by region. Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
On iPhone and iPad
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase or, if your plan has a free trial, when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it does. The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your Apple ID account settings. Your use of the iOS app is also governed by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
On Android
Payment is charged to your Google Play account when you confirm the purchase or, if your plan has a free trial, when the trial ends unless you cancel before it does. The subscription renews automatically until you cancel it in the Play Store app under Payments and subscriptions. Refunds follow Google Play’s refund policy.
Deleting your FarmHop account does not cancel a subscription; cancel it with Apple or Google as described above.
Your contributions
The Application lets you submit content such as reviews, photos, reports, confirmations that a farm is open, order requests, feedback and, for verified farm owners, farm details, products, posts and replies (“Contributions”). You are responsible for your Contributions and confirm that you have the right to submit them and that they are accurate and lawful.
By submitting Contributions you grant the Service Provider a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, use, display and distribute them in connection with the Application. The Service Provider may remove any Contribution at its discretion. Farm ownership claims are subject to verification, and misrepresenting ownership of a farm is prohibited.
Third-party services
The Application uses third-party services that have their own terms:
What we can't control
Some functions of the Application need an active internet connection, over Wi-Fi or your mobile network. The Service Provider is not responsible if the Application doesn’t work fully because you have no Wi-Fi or have used up your data allowance.
If you use the Application outside Wi-Fi, your mobile network provider’s terms still apply, and you may be charged for data or other third-party charges. By using the Application you accept responsibility for those charges, including roaming charges if you use it outside your home region or country without turning off data roaming. If you are not the bill payer for your device, we assume you have the bill payer’s permission.
Likewise, it is your responsibility to keep your device charged. The Service Provider is not responsible if your battery runs out and you can’t use the Application.
The Service Provider aims to keep the Application updated and accurate, but relies on third parties for some of the information it shows, and accepts no liability for any loss, direct or indirect, that you experience as a result of relying entirely on that functionality.
Updates and ending service
The Service Provider may update the Application, and the operating system requirements may change; you will need to download updates to keep using it. The Service Provider does not promise to keep the Application relevant to you or compatible with your device’s operating system version. You agree to accept updates when they are offered.
The Service Provider may stop providing the Application, and may end your use of it, at any time without notice. Unless we tell you otherwise, when that happens (a) the rights and licenses these terms give you end, and (b) you must stop using the Application and, if necessary, delete it from your device.
Changes to these terms
The Service Provider may update these terms from time to time, and will post the new version on this page. Please review it regularly. These terms are effective as of October 3, 2026.
